Man United: Red Devils fans react to latest transfer news as Harry Kane is linked with club

Harry Kane has been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer according to the Telegraph.

The England international is frustrated with the lack of silverware at Tottenham Hotspur and is considering his options after the Telegraph also suggested that the London club could have only £50m to spend on new transfers this summer. Naturally this latest transfer update has sent reverberations amongst United fans and the Reds could be in for a busy transfer window with the club also linked to teenage sensation Jadon Sancho.

Kane would be the perfect goal-scoring replacement if leading goalscorer Marcus Rashford doesn’t recover from a back injury before the start of next season. The England captain has scored 17 goals in 25 appearances for Spurs in all competitions this term, but is valued at a hefty £135m by Transfermarkt, while the Telegraph’s report says Spurs would want at least £150m.

Matt Law adds United could be handed a further boost in their pursuit of the 26-year-old because Real Madrid have named Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe as their top transfer target.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future remains uncertain amid speculation the board could move for former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino, who has worked well with Kane in the past. The England centre-forward made 242 appearances overall under the Argentinian, scoring a staggering 169 goals and registering 30 assists (Transfermarkt).

It seems that many Red Devils are going crazy over the latest transfer link with the Spurs striker, with one fan even suggesting that it’s “Poch pulling power in work.”
