Man Utd Will Pay Him £120k A Year!

Manchester United have either completed, or are about to complete (depending on who you believe), the signing of young Serbian starlet Adnan Januzaj.

Januzaj is a product of the Belgian outfit Anderlecht’s youth system, but now he’s reached that troublesome age of 16, he is legally entitled to start looking around at other clubs. He’s been dubbed the ‘New David Beckham’ by a lot of admirers, and there has been a host of top European clubs after his signature. It looks like Sir Alex may just have got his man, with reports from 4 days ago suggesting that United had already completed the transfer. Since then however, there has been nothing to indicate whether or not such reports were accurate.

Assuming he has been signed already, Januzaj can expect to earn £120,000 a year on a four year deal, which would make him one of the highest earning youth players at United. And to think, when I was 16 I was mowing the lawn for a neighbur who gave me a tenner and a glass of squash. And I thought that was decent wages!

Sir Alex will have to fork out a further ‘training and development fee’ to Anderlecht, who will probably be sad to see such a talented youngster go. Try being Newcastle fans! Quite what that fee will consist of is anyone’s guess! Adnan is expected to be part of Sir Alex’s youth set-up at United, but if all goes according to plan he could soon find himself rubbing shoulders with fellow Serb Nemanja Vidic in no time.

I'm a 23 year old Newcastle United fan, who enjoys watching and playing football, listening to music, watching movies and reading. Actually, none of that's very exciting is it? Erm...I also ran across America, won the Congressional Medal of Honour, have been to the White House 3 times, taught Elvis to dance and helped John Lennon write Imagine. My motto is, 'Life is like a box of chocolates...' no, sorry that's Forrest Gump....
