As the Premier League reaches its climax after a disappointing campaign for Manchester City we have a strong feeling that Citizens supporters in the Football Transfer Tavern are missing maverick former striker Mario Balotelli and it now appears that one of his former team-mates is keen to play in the same team as him again with rumours linking Kolo Toure with a summer move to AC Milan.
Mail Online journalist Simon Jones reports that Toure is out of contract in the summer and is not expected to be offered a new deal at the Etihad Stadium. The 32-year-old has been sounded out by numerous European sides including Galatasaray, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco who have viewed the Ivorian as a cheap transfer option but Milan are reported to have taken the lead in a reported chase.
That could lead to a reunion with former City star Nigel de Jong not to mention Balotelli who left the Premier League in January as Milan look to freshen up their ageing side.
Toure has been limited to only 16 appearances this season and he is almost certain to leave but will he be joining Balotelli at the San Siro?
