After Red Bull Salzburg’s 4-1 dismantling of Genk in their Champions League group, a match where in-form striker Erling Braut Haaland added to his astonishing goal return this season, Manchester City supporters have caved in and begged the club to seek his signature.
Haaland, son of former City player Alf-Hinge, has bagged a ridiculous eight goals in five European appearances this season – including one at Anfield at the home of the previous six-time winners, with his electric form surely turning the heads of the continent’s top football clubs.
In fact, as per the Metro earlier this month, the Premier League champions are keen on the player.
Another statistic also revealed that Haaland has registered an inhuman 34 goal involvements in his last 19 games, taking his level of influence to an all-time high and clearly demonstrating his proficiency in the final third.
