According to a report from Sport Bild, Manchester City winger Leroy Sane’s agency LIAN Sports and Bayern Munich director Hasan Salihamidzic held a ‘secret meeting‘ on Wednesday to discuss the player’s future – with Barcelona and Real Madrid also reportedly interested.
The German, who hasn’t featured for City this season due to an ACL injury sustained in their Community Shield triumph back in August, has been linked with a move to the Bundesliga giants for some time – with reports last summer strongly hinting at a potential Bavarian switch (The Guardian). Sane made a key impact during the Sky Blues’ Premier League title clinch over the 2018/2019 campaign, scoring the winning goal against Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium in a crucial 2-1 win.
Now, with his future at the club in doubt, many City supporters have flocked to discuss this latest update on Sane – with one fan stating that he’d ‘rather he went to Barca‘ whilst other supporters urged Bayern to ‘leave him alone‘.
