According to a report from the Sun, Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly refusing to commit his future to a potential Real Madrid move as he is waiting to see if he can succeed Pep Guardiola at Manchester City – but supporters have made it clear they do not want the Argentine.
Pochettino, who was shown the exit door by Tottenham Hotspur earlier this campaign due to a lacklustre start to the season, was previously doing good work at White Hart Lane – guiding them to a first-ever Champions League final where they narrowly lost out to league leaders Liverpool.
The former Espanyol boss, who enjoyed a brief rivalry with current City boss Guardiola in La Liga, has now been linked with a move to the Sky Blues – even after helping to knock them out of Europe last campaign.
However, despite a fairly impressive resume, City supporters would much rather keep hold of Guardiola or potentially go after more illustrious suitors. Indeed, one even suggested Leicester City’s Brendan Rodgers – who has also been linked with a move by the Sun in the past – would make a better choice were a vacancy to open up.
Here’s what they had to say on Twitter.
Not interested. Rodgers would be the better bet for City.

Zidane is doing a wonderful job in Real Madrid, why would they fire him and hire Mauricio. Pep is staying as well.
