Riyad Mahrez has started five times for Manchester City this campaign, making a huge impact and playing well, but he has also missed out the last two games in favour of Bernardo Silva.
Mahrez, who scored just seven goals and racked up four assists in 27 appearances during 2018/2019, started the new season off well after impressing at the back end of City’s treble-winning campaign – arguably sealing the win against Brighton on the last day with a superb solo goal.

He appeared to have kept that momentum going, producing match-winning performances against the likes of Shakhtar Donetsk and Watford, but has since fallen out of favour due to the resurgence of last season’s Player of the Year Bernardo.
Judging by the reactions to his most recent training ground clip, where the 28-year-old skinned defender Nicolas Otamendi with a few cheeky stepovers, fans want to see him back in the starting line up as soon as possible.
