Manchester City: Fans praise Angelino following assured Burnley display

Manchester City initiated a buy-back clause to bring Angelino back to the Etihad following a solid season with PSV Eindhoven, with the little Spaniard putting in an assured display away to Burnley on Tuesday evening which prompted loads of praise.

There were many names that required due applause after City’s 4-1 dismantling of Burnley at Turf Moor, with superstars Gabriel Jesus, Rodri, David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne all springing to mind – but one man that may have went under the radar by comparison is Angelino – who looked assured all night on the left-flank.

A brace from Jesus, a stunner from Rodri and a cool drive into the bottom corner from Mahrez secured a brilliant three points at a tough ground for the Sky Blues – but these City supporters noticed how comfortable Angelino seemed at left-back.
