However, away from Jesus following his sensational impact, one man has also taken his fair share of the plaudits from the New Year’s Day encounter – with full-back Joao Cancelo getting a warm reception from fans during the 90 minutes.
Cancelo, who signed from Juventus in a £60 million deal last summer, has had to work hard for game time due to the form of fellow right-back Kyle Walker – but now some supporters think he should be starting more regularly over the Englishman.
