Following the news that Manchester City winger Bernardo Silva will miss the game against Chelsea after admitting to a breach of FA rules and being slapped with a one-match ban, supporters haven’t taken too kindly to the disciplinary action.
Along with the short ban, Silva has also been fined £50,000 and will have to go through face to face education as part of his punishment after sending a tweet to teammate Benjamin Mendy that contained seemingly racist undertones.

Despite this, City’s 2018/19 Player of the Season maintains the notion that he did not intend for it to be that way and was merely joking around with a friend.
Regardless, the FA have still handed out a punishment, and as a result, Silva will miss a crucial home game against third-placed Chelsea.
Following the announcement, it’s safe to say supporters aren’t too happy – with lots of City followers protesting the ban on Twitter.
Here’s what they had to say.

And so the agenda against city continues. Surprised it’s not more games banned for tbh. Hopefully he can move on from having the uncertainty hanging over him 💙
