After RB Leipzig stunned Man City’s arch-rivals Man United in the Champions League group stage on Tuesday night, with City loanee Angelino starting the goalscoring free flow which eventually condemned United to a Europa League place, many Sky Blues reacted as some lauded his exit a ‘Txiki masterclass’.
The Spaniard, who has an option to sign for Leipzig on a permanent deal, scored an early opening goal which helped to seal a 3-2 defeat for the Red Devils as they now drop down a European competition.

Man City fans, in response to this development, have lauded the decision to loan him to the Bundesliga side as he played a heavy hand in their rivals’ demise – with some Sky Blues baffled by the ‘masterclass’ whilst lauding Pep Guardiola as a ‘genius’.
