After a summer that was largely dominated by the Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich transfer saga from Manchester City’s perspective, rumours have been flying from all over as to who the Sky Blues could sign as a potential replacement for the German – with this latest whisper from El Confidencial via Sport Witness prompting hilarious reactions.

Mikel Oyarzabal, who bagged 13 goals and two assists from midfield last campaign, is reportedly back on City’s radar as Pep Guardiola ‘knows’ the player can perform for a big team – especially since he is continuing that form this season with five strikes and four assists already.
It seems clear that the Spaniard could potentially offer Guardiola’s side an outlet similar to Sane judging by his stats, not to mention the 22-year-old still has many years ahead of him.
