According to a report from the Sun, Manchester City have potentially identified a future replacement for Pep Guardiola at the helm in current Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers – but these supporters haven’t taken too kindly to the rumours.

The Sky Blues ran rampant during a brilliant 3-0 victory at the Emirates on Sunday, courtesy of a masterclass from midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, providing the perfect antidote to their Manchester derby defeat.
Guardiola’s side dominated the ball and controlled proceedings in a performance that could be deemed City’s best so far this season in the Premier League, but given how far away they are from league leaders Liverpool, that hasn’t stopped speculation surrounding the Spaniard’s future at the club.
Taking that into account, one potential future successor who is currently smashing all expectations is Foxes boss Rodgers, who has guided his side to second in the table so far this season – even if they dropped points at the weekend.
However, despite his success, City supporters aren’t entirely sold on the idea to say the least – here’s what they had to say on Twitter.
Can’t think of anything worse.
