A number of Manchester City fans are eager to sign Lionel Messi after it was revealed that the Argentina international would be interested in a switch to the Etihad Stadium this summer.
The Citizens have been linked with Messi for a number of years, and the speculation reached a crescendo last summer (AS). Messi revealed he wish to leave Barcelona (CNN) and that led to the Citizens being heavily linked with a move for arguably the greatest player ever to play the game.
