As Manchester City cruised to a resounding victory against Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium this evening, it's safe to say many Sky Blues were in awe of midfield man Bernardo Silva for his display.

The Portuguese maestro could have left Eastlands in the summer, heavily linked with a move away after expressing a desire for more game time (The Independent).

After he didn't get his move, it's safe to say Bernardo has been one of manager Pep Guardiola's best players so far this term alongside the likes of Phil Foden, Rodrigo, Joao Cancelo and Gabriel Jesus.

Against Brighton, the 27-year-old put in another imperious display and played a major role running the City attack alongside Foden.

Helping Guardiola's men open the floodgates with a first half assist for Ilkay Gundogan and finishing among the highest-rated City players on SofaScore, it's safe to say Bernardo's display was a real highlight of the night.

Flocking to Twitter, many Sky Blues supporters were certainly blown away - find all of their best verdicts down below.
