After putting in a scintillating display during Manchester City’s 4-1 hammering of Burnley at Turf Moor on Tuesday evening, Rodri wasn’t finished endearing himself to the Sky Blues faithful – going on to say City have every chance of retaining the title despite being 11 points behind.
The Spaniard was at the very centre of their brilliant win at Burnley, scoring a thunderbolt to put City firmly in control after Gabriel Jesus bagged a brace – with Riyad Mahrez going on to finish the contest with a cool finish.

Even without his top draw strike, Rodri would’ve undoubtedly been a Man of the Match contender for his commanding presence in midfield – regaining possession countless times and keeping his side on the front foot for most of the game.
Speaking after the match via Man City Xtra, he was asked what chance his side have of retaining the title this season – responding with a firm ‘All of it’.
