Manchester City fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are split on opinion after the Daily Star revealed that the club may have lost their patience with experienced forward Edin Dzeko.
The 29-year-old has played a big part in City’s recent history but this season he has slumped, and he could be facing the axe along with current boss Manuel Pellegrini.
Despite the Bosnia and Herzegovina international signing a contract extention last year, keeping him at the club until 2018, his future is still uncertain.
The reason being is because Dzeko has only found the back of the net six times this season, so it is no surprise that the Citizens are keen to get his £140,000-a-week deal off of the wage bill.
They are believed to consider bids in the region of £20 million with the hope to recoup as much of the £27m sum they paid Wolfsburg back in 2011.
The club who have been speculated to make a bid is Inter Milan due to the fact Roberto Mancini was the man who brought him to the Etihad.
