Manchester City The Movie!

It’s here! Manchester City, the movie. “Blue Moon Rising” will be released in cinemas throughout the United Kingdom to chronicle the meteoric rise of the blue half of Manchester.

Producer Nick London was delighted with the response to the mini-epic which took a year to reach the screen and was even longer in the planning. More than 250 hours of footage, shot on state-of-the-art cameras, was distilled into the fast-paced, emotional ninety minutes.

“This is a film seen through the eyes of a group of City fans and what it means to love a football club. Through them I am sure it is a film to which all football followers can strongly relate,” said London.

“We can’t thank City enough for the access we were given which helps makes this film so special.”

The film includes behind-the-scenes footage from the boardroom, dressing room and more as it gives viewers a glimpse into Manchester City’s 2009-10 season. The film also follows the lives of several die-hard Manchester CIty supporters as it shows in real life what the club means to these grown men.

The film was supposed to originally be a television documentary but has morphed into a film.

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
