Flocking to Twitter, many Manchester City supporters have raved over a fresh update on Borussia Dortmund superstar Erling Braut Haaland’s future.

Pep Guardiola, after guiding the Sky Blues to a Champions League final, Premier League title and Carabao Cup last season, set his sights on bringing a striker to Eastlands over the summer alongside club record signing Jack Grealish.

Indeed, after the Sky Blues failed to sign Kane in the summer, it appears they’re now back in the picture to sign Haaland and they are seen as ‘big players’ in the transfer race alongside Paris-Saint Germain, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

It is also said that the economic aspect of a deal for Haaland will have a ‘lot of weight’ as City become one of the big clubs ‘advancing positions over a move, according to a report by AS (via Sport Witness).
