Indeed, the Sky Blues have just come off the back of a crucial 1-0 win away to European champions and title rivals Chelsea, with Gabriel Jesus scoring the only goal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Now, it appears that City supporters have more to celebrate as a claim emerges involving Mbappe and Pep Guardiola's side.

According to reporter Duncan Castles on The Transfer Window Podcast, it is said that the club have now been given a 'mandate' to sign the France forward and that they want him at 'any cost'.
