Punters in the Football Transfer Tavern are considering the latest claim from Metro and moving over to the bar.
Our landlord pours another round of pints as he informs us that Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez looks certain to be leaving the club in the summer.
It was only this week we were discussing the claim that as many as ten players could be on their way out of the club, and it seems that the Mexican forward will be one of those.
Hernandez has not been given any chance at all to impress on a regular basis under David Moyes, and we think that it is certainly time for the player to look for chances and opportunities elsewhere.
As one of our punters notes, the fact that La Liga leaders and Champions League semi- finalists Atletico Madrid are in for the player is certainly something to be considered, with the club set to qualify for the Champions League next season – something current club Manchester United will not be doing
Moyes would be willing to allow Hernandez to leave, and is hoping to bring in a host of players with his £200 million war chest this summer.
Will the La Liga side manage to tempt Hernandez away from Old Trafford? Let us know your thoughts below.
