After Manchester United failed to come away from Bramall Lane with a much-needed victory following an impressive comeback, with Sheffield United striker Oli McBurnie scoring late to deny them an heroic three points, supporters have taken aim at two players in particular after their performances.
Andreas Pereira and Jesse Lingard came under fire following their showings in the dramatic 3-3 draw, with Man United fans analysing one moment between the pair which potentially summed up their lack of impact on the pitch.

Mid-way through the second half and trailing 2-0, Pereira took the ball down and laid off a bouncing pass to Lingard who seemingly let it run before the Blades easily reclaimed possession – with supporters playing the incident in slow motion and discussing how it just highlights their lack of quality in midfield.
Although the assessment seems harsh, Red Devils followers didn’t hold back on their opinions after a frustrating afternoon in the Steel City.
Here’s their analysis in full on Twitter.
Mate Lingard is the midfield equivalent of Phil Jones. How they are even allowed into the training ground this morning is beyond me. We should cut our losses and offer them for free to Rochdale.

Both Periera and Lingard need to be packed off to Shenzhen Shengua

Any decent player would have just played a little right foot pass in to James there. @jaunmata8 would have done that.
