Manchester United: Andreas Pereira comments surrounding Bruno Fernandes draw criticism regardless of praise

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Red Devils midfielder Andreas Pereira has been praising the impact of new signing Bruno Fernandes and how the Portuguese playmaker can make him a better player – but that notion hasn’t exactly attracted love from supporters.

Pereira, who has started 18 games for United this season whilst scoring one goal and assisting three others, is currently drawing criticism for his verdict that Fernandes will help him improve his current form. Even though Pereira, who has been deployed as a central midfielder, winger and attacker this season, is largely under threat due to the acquisition of Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon in January – he still believes that the 25-year-old will bring nothing but positivity when it comes to improving his form. Indeed, after just two games, Fernandes has already eclipsed the Brazilian in terms of stats – racking up a superior shots per game ratio (3.5) and number of key passes (1.5) per game this season (WhoScored), prior to tonight’s fixture.

As a result, these Red Devils supporters do not think there is a future for him at Old Trafford – with some of them taking to Twitter and blasting his Fernandes verdict. Find all of their best comments down below.
