Manchester United: Antero Henrique links have Red Devils supporters up in arms

According to a report from TuttomercatoWeb.com, Manchester United are currently negotiating with ex-PSG transfer specialist Antero Henrique to become the Red Devils’ director of football – prompting outrage from a section of supporters.

Henrique, who left PSG’s director of football role last June by mutual agreement after two years at the helm, was in charge of some startling transfers during his time at the French champions – overseeing the record-breaking £200 million move for Neymar in 2017 as well as completing a deal to bring sensation Kylian Mbappe to the Parc des Princes.

Now, it appears United could be moving to bring his expertise in huge transfers to Old Trafford – with vice-chairman Ed Woodward currently in charge of that aspect of the club. However, even though his resume appears impressive, a lot of Red Devils fans have been sceptical over whether he is the right appointment – with one supporter suggesting that he is in fact ‘worse than Woodward‘.

UTD are in serious trouble if they hire this fool. Most probably a plot from Ed and the Glazers to bring in a reject so that they can sack him a year later and no one will be demanding a DOF again.
