The January transfer window is just weeks away from opening, and with many rumours concerning Manchester United’s potential moves, one particular link seems to have fans very excited in their desire to see a world-class attacking midfielder.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have been linked with an array of star names in that position lately, including Sporting Lisbon ace Bruno Fernandes, but a Premier League alternative in Christian Eriksen appears to have presented itself according to this latest report from the Daily Mail.

Eriksen, who has made 295 appearances for Spurs since his move from Ajax, scoring 68 goals and assisting 88 others from midfield, as per Transfermarkt, has reportedly been unsettled in North London since the summer – with United looking to capitalise and acquire his signature in their bid to challenge for the title once again in the near future.
As a result, supporters on Twitter have been in full voice over his potential arrival, suggesting that Ed Woodward deserves a statue if he can land him and how he could be the perfect replacement for Juan Mata.
Take a look below…
if we get Sancho and Eriksen in Jan give Woodward a statue

Eriksen would be better than Pereira and Lingard. He’s still an exceptional player who’s having an off season who could be acquired for a reduced price. The perfect replacement for Mata.
