Responding to Paul Pogba’s Instagram post via United Xtra, Manchester United supporters praised the Frenchman for his eagerness to get back out on the pitch even after his side lost 2-0 to Premier League bottom side Watford on Sunday.
The World Cup winner was at the centre of a transfer saga last summer and throughout recovery from an ankle injury, which ruled him out of action over the last two months, with some supporters wondering if he was just milking the knock to try and not play for the Red Devils.
However, after this latest social media post following a fine individual performance at Vicarage Road, it appears a section of supporters have changed their tune and could see Pogba’s desire to show his worth.
Posting to his story on Instagram, the 26-year-old uploaded a photograph of himself from the game – lying on the turf with the match ball with a caption reading: “I missed you friend!”
As a result, fans couldn’t help but love it, praising the midfielder on social media – here’s what they had to say.

We missed him massively he came on and changed the game we finally saw passes going forward passes being completed and good runs but because he didn’t score 6 and assist 33 and tie KDB laces and nutmeg salah this game it was a poor performance
