Manchester United fans have been begging the club to complete a deal for Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish after reports emerged linking the side with a move.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils have stepped up their interest in the Englishman, with the club keen to complete their summer deals before the month ends. The British publication are claiming that the Old Trafford giants want to avoid paying a high price due to a potential England call-up.
The £31.5m-rated (as per Transfermarkt) playmaker has enjoyed a brilliant campaign with the Villans, scoring nine goals and assisting a further eight in just 28 fixtures across all competitions this season. He has been the chief creator for the Midlands club and, compared to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men, averages more key passes and more dribbles per league game, as per WhoScored.
