Manchester United are five points away from the top four and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said he’s looking to bring in signings. With that in mind, Sky Sports have reported that United have been in talks with Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare, and supporters are buzzing.
The 20-year-old Frenchman has made six showings in the Champions League this term, where he’s been rated 6.93/10 by WhoScored. Indeed, the same website notes how he’s a 90.2 per cent passing accuracy in Ligue 1 compared to the likes of Scott McTominay at United who’s got 78.8 per cent in the Premier League.
The report also says the player is deciding between Old Trafford and moving to Chelsea, and it was shared on Twitter by Man United news aggregator Utd Report. Following that and given Paul Pogba’s links away from the club, there were plenty of fans in the replies going crazy about the possibility of signing the youngster.
