A number of Manchester United fans have been rejoicing at the news that Andreas Pereira and Jesse Lingard are not supposedly a part of the squad for their upcoming game with Watford on Sunday afternoon.

Twitter account, Utdreport, relayed an article by the Manchester Evening News that had created a preview of their clash and appeared to leave the two aforementioned names off the list of players in their confirmed squad list.
As mentioned, fans were overjoyed with the news that the pair were not included and immediately took to Twitter to share their happiness. Many lauded Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the decision, with some suggesting that he had started to listen to what they wanted and that it was what they wanted to see from the Norwegian boss.
Indeed, Manchester United will be looking to capitalise on their win against Chelsea on Monday and will be looking to close the gap on their fellow rivals for fourth spot in the Premier League and it seems supporters feel they would have a better chance of achieving that without the likes of Pereira and Lingard in the side.
Some of the club’s faithful appeared to even suggest that it was the best news that they had heard all-day, whilst one said it was the best news to have appeared on the internet for the day.
Here are just some of their reactions to the supposed news…
