Manchester United: Fans drool over footage of Edinson Cavani advising Axel Tuanzebe

A number of Manchester United fans have been heaping praise onto Edinson Cavani after footage emerged of the forward offering what appeared to be tactical advice to Axel Tuanzebe ahead of their clash with PSG.

Cavani was not involved in the Red Devils’ clash with PSG for the start of their Champions League campaign. However, the Uruguayan would have been able to provide Ole Gunnar Solskjær plenty of advice over how to stop the Ligue 1 side, having only just left them in the summer.

One player who was involved in the starting line-up was Tuanzebe, who came into the side from the wilderness to make his first appearance of the calendar year. The 22-year-old delivered an impressive performance making seven clearances and matching the rapid Kylian Mbappé stride for stride.

Footage has now surfaced on Twitter of Cavani in conversation with the defender ahead of United’s 2-1 win in Paris. Fans suspect he was offering hints on how to keep PSG’s strong forward line of Neymar, Mbappe and Angel Di Maria at bay.

Many Manchester United fans were quick to point out that Cavani’s tips worked wonders for the Red Devils, as Tuanzebe delivered an excellent performance alongside the rest of the defensive unit. While one fan pointed out that this shows that the Uruguayan is already looking like an effective communicator in the dressing room.
