Manchester United: Fans fume over Michael Oliver appointment for Everton clash

After coming away from the Manchester derby with a hard-fought three points and winning their last two league games against top-six sides, Manchester United now host Everton at Old Trafford in a bid to continue their recent run of form.

The Toffees are currently in high spirits following their 3-1 victory over Chelsea at Goodison Park after Marco Silva was shown the exit door after their Merseyside derby loss, with a resurgent Everton outfit now looking to do the business again when they travel to Manchester on Sunday.

Both sides have a point to prove, but one announcement that has got United supporters feeling slightly pessimistic is the appointment of referee Michael Oliver for the clash.

Taylor, according to these supporters, has a tendency to be overly handy with yellow cards – with fans predicting the same for their bout with Everton.
