Lots of Manchester United fans have gushed over a tweet from the club’s official account showing Bruno Fernandes’ highlight reel.
United posted footage of the January signing providing a delicate assist against Watford, bamboozling the Everton defence, as well as scoring a cheeky penalty against the Hornets.
Ever since arriving at Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon for £49.5m, Fernandes has made an electric start to his career with the Red Devils, scoring 2 goals and producing 3 assists in his first five games in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old has also picked up a goal and an assist for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side in the Europa League, taking 3.7 shots per game and creating 3 key passes on average in the European competition (WhoScored).
Only time will tell if the Portuguese midfielder will be able to maintain this incredible streak in the seasons to come, but for now, Solskjaer certainly has a star in the making on his hands.
Unsurprisingly, a large section of the United faithful reacted to the “beautiful” video online, with one fan dubbing the clips as “magic,” and another simply adding the montage is “phenomenal.”
