Manchester United: Fans hail Marcus Rashford after Player of the Month win

The Manchester United forward has been on fire this season for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, particularly in November, scoring three goals in four Premier League games over the last month – prompting the club to award him Player of the Month.

Rashford found the net against Sheffield United, Brighton and Aston Villa as well as scoring in the Red Devils’ 3-0 win over Partizan Belgrade in the Europa League.

As well as this, the Englishman has been a crucial figurehead and United’s main source of creativity following an originally slow start to the season.

All in all, Rashford has bagged seven goals and assisted four others in the Premier League alone going into tonight’s game – already just three strikes away from equalling his tally for the whole of his 2018/2019 campaign.

As a result, supporters have recognised his importance to the side if they’re going to challenge for a top-four place and ultimately praised him for winning Player of the Month – here’s what they had to say on Twitter.
