After finding out that they will host Club Brugges in the Europa League Round of 32, the competition’s official Twitter account posted a great reminder of striker Mason Greenwood’s contribution to Manchester United’s progress from the group stage – prompting supporters to hail the teenage sensation.
Greenwood, who has been one of United’s breakthrough players of the season so far, scored a lightning-fast brace at home to AZ Alkmaar in their final Group L encounter at Old Trafford – going on to score a crucial equaliser at home to Everton in the league just three days later.
Indeed, it’s been quite a last week for the 18-year-old, who has emerged as a ray of hope with his influential performances for the Red Devils.
Now, with the Europa League Twitter account joining in on the hype, United supporters have taken the opportunity to hail the Englishman once more – here’s how they described the teenager on social media.
