Manchester United fans were lauding David de Gea after his interview following the defeat to Newcastle United.

The Red Devils lost 1-0 thanks to a goal from Matty Longstaff, who scored on what was his Premier League debut.
£58.5m-rated De Gea admitted after the game that he had no clue as to why the club were in their current plight, as he blasted everyone at the club. The Spaniard also admitted it’s the most ‘difficult’ time since he joined the club back in 2011 (via Sky Sports).
The Spain international only recently extended his contract, signing a four-year contract with an option to extend for a further 12 months.
United’s defeat continued the club’s bad run on form, with their last top-flight win coming against Leicester City on the 14th of September (via WhoScored).
Fans were lauding the ‘keeper following his comments on the club’s situation as they took to Twitter to react.
