Manchester United: Fans laud Scott McTominay after positive stat revealed

Manchester United fans have heaped praise on midfielder Scott McTominay after his performances during the current campaign.

The Scotland international, 22, has become an integral part of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad due to the injury of influential player Paul Pogba and has stepped up to the plate for the Red Devils.

Beloved by former boss Jose Mourinho, the Scotsman has maintained his place in the side despite the sacking of the Portuguese manager last December, with Solskjaer describing him as a “leader”.

Former United midfielder Darren Fletcher said that McTominay reminded him of himself during his time at Old Trafford after he was impressed with his displays.
