Manchester United fans are less than optimistic about the prospect of watching Harry Maguire play for the club in Saturday’s fixture against Leicester City.
The tweets came after Maguire posted a photo of Old Trafford on Instagram along with the caption: “Back at Old Trafford Saturday.”
Maguire, who joined for £80m back in the summer window, has had a mixed start to life as a centre-back at the north-west club. After keeping a clean sheet in a 4-0 win over Chelsea in his debut for the club, the England international has conceded in each of his last three games, including two at home to Crystal Palace (via WhoScored).
International duty with England brought no change in luck for the 26-year-old as he conceded a penalty against Kosovo (via BBC).
After all the noise around Maguire, Manchester United fans have taken to Twitter to voice their doubts about the £80m centre-half starting on Saturday.
