According to a report from the Daily Mirror, Manchester United are locked in a battle with Premier League rivals Chelsea for winger Jadon Sancho’s signature, with the article claiming that both clubs could bid £120m to sign the player.
Sancho, who has turned heads with his form for Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund in recent seasons, signed for the German club from Manchester City in 2017 for just £8m, with that price looking like a mere drop in the ocean compared to his price tag right now. The Mirror claimed that Sancho could be on the move back to the Premier League as United and Chelsea gear up for a £120m battle to land the teenager.
Compared to current winger Anthony Martial, Sancho has bagged 10 goals and 13 assists in the league this season as well as a superior completed dribbles ratio (2.8), as per WhoScored.com. However, due to his lofty price tag, some Manchester United supporters have since gone on to rubbish the report.
