Responding to a piece by the Daily Mail detailing Massimiliano Allegri’s potential interest in the Manchester United job, with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino also keeping a ‘close watch’ on developments at the club, Red Devils supporters have rejoiced at the latter’s reported intrigue.

Pochettino, who guided Spurs to the Champions League final last season before a terrible start to this campaign resulted in his dismissal, has been linked with the manager’s job at Old Trafford ever since he parted ways with the London club – even despite the fact Ole Gunnar Solskjaer currently remains at the helm.
Some United fans have been campaigning for Solskjaer’s sacking this season due to the club’s lacklustre start, with a title challenge out of the question again and the main priority seemingly being a top-four place.
As a result, a section of supporters are excited by the potential for a change in leadership, taking to Twitter and hoping Pochettino makes his way to Manchester.
