After Manchester United youngster Brandon Williams put in a solid display during their 1-0 FA Cup third round victory over Wolves on Wednesday evening, supporters had nothing but praise for the left-back and have continued to hail the Englishman.
Williams, who amassed an 86% pass completion rate down the left-hand side whilst winning three aerial duels, as per WhoScored.com, also should’ve potentially notched an assist – with his perfectly weighted pass through to Daniel James being an excellent chance for United to grab the opener.
Despite that, Red Devils midfielder Juan Mata eventually found the break through just past the hour mark with a superb finish – allowing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to eventually cling on and book their place in the fourth round. It wasn’t all good news, however, as current star forward Marcus Rashford was forced off after coming on as a substitute with an injury.
