Loads of Manchester United fans have heaped praise on youngster Mason Greenwood following their side’s 4-0 victory against Norwich City at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The 18-year-old was given the opportunity to move up to the first team by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he made his debut during his side’s 2-0 defeat to Arsenal last season. Greenwood replaced Andreas Pereira with 19 minutes to play and scored the final goal of the afternoon to round off a comfortable win. A brace from Marcus Rashford either side of half time and a goal from Anthony Martial sealed the three points for the Red Devils.
Greenwood made an instant impact against the Canaries and fans were gushing over his brief outing at Old Trafford. Sofascore recorded that he had a 90% pass success rate, he made one successful dribble and only gave the ball away twice in 19 minutes. The youngster has now scored four goals in 17 Premier League appearances, as well as four goals in the Europa League and one in the Carabao Cup, as per TransferMarkt.
