Loads of Manchester United fans have been drooling over their performance against Norwich on Saturday, with particular praise going towards Juan Mata.
Considering how desperate the Red Devils have been for some creativity from midfield this season, it is baffling Mata has not played more, as the 31 year-old showed exactly what he is still capable of on Saturday afternoon.
After helping to open the scoring with an assist for Marcus Rashford, the former Chelsea man completely ran the show against the Canaries, totting up two key passes and creating two big chances, per Sofascore.
He also completed both of his crosses, seven of his eight attempted long balls and 90% of his overall passes, while even doing his part defensively by winning two out of his three ground duels.
According to Sofascore, he also lost possession just ten times, which is very good for an attacking player trying lots of incisive passes. To put that into perspective, Rashford lost the ball 14 times and Anthony Martial surrendered possession on 17 occasions.
