Manchester United fans were left praising Anthony Martial after a surprising statistic emerged about his recent form for the club.

It was revealed that when Martial has started for the club during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s time in charge, the club have won 77% of their league matches as opposed to 29% without him (via Statman Dave).
The France international has enjoyed a brilliant return from his thigh injury he suffered in the home loss to Crystal Palace, scoring two goals in just three games (via Transfermarkt).
His goal-scoring performance against Norwich City saw him receive high praise from teammate Juan Mata, who likened the 23-year-old to Cristiano Ronaldo (Juan Mata via MEN).
The 3-1 win over the Canaries saw the north-west club rise all the way up to seventh in the league table.
Fans were lauding Martial after the emergence of the statistic as they took to Twitter to react.
