Manchester United: Fans roast Inter Milan pursuit of Tahith Chong

According to a report from Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter Milan have reportedly stepped up their chase of Manchester United youngster Tahith Chong – with outlet FourFourTwo previously describing the youngster’s contract situation as a potential ‘Paul Pogba-esque’ bargain when Juventus were reportedly chasing his signature.

Back in late October, the Daily Mail reported that the Old Lady were keen to snap up the 20-year-old in what could’ve proven to be a ‘Pogba-esque’ bargain given that Chong is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave for free after failing to extend his deal thus far – similar to the Frenchman back in 2012.

The Red Devils academy graduate, as a result, has also enticed the interest of fellow Serie A title challengers Inter – who may well be looking to profit off Chong’s contract situation to sign him on the cheap. Chong, who has started two Europa League matches for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side this campaign (WhoScored.com), missing a sitter away to Astana, could very well be on the move if United continue to dwindle on offering him a new contract.

Inter, who are also reportedly monitoring Ashley Young (Sky Sports), have appeared to probe Solskjaer’s squad this window for in search of acquisitions – resulting in these United supporters roasting even more interest on their end. Find their best comments down below.
