Responding to a post by Utd Report, Manchester United fans were asked how they can change things mid-way through the first half – with the overwhelming consensus being that duo Jesse Lingard and Luke Shaw needed to make way.
The English pair both put in underwhelming performances as the Red Devils stumbled to their second 2-0 defeat in four games, prompting supporters to blast the two players on social media after Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta secured his first win as manager.

According to WhoScored.com’s rating system, Lingard amassed a dreadful 5.7 score while teammate Shaw didn’t fare much better with a 6.5.
As a result, Red Devils fans have been going in on the two players after seemingly woeful displays – especially given the fact Shaw failed to pick up Nicolas Pepe for the Gunners’ opening goal inside the first few minutes.
Meanwhile, Lingard appeared fruitless in attack as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side attempted to bounce back.
