Manchester United: Latest theory surrounding Solskjaer’s future has fans in outrage

According to a recent YouTube upload by Manchester United fan channel The United Stand, presenter Mark Goldbridge has hinted that the Red Devils have been backed into a corner with their appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the club ‘cannot’ sack him – prompting a frustrated reaction from a set of supporters.

The reaction comes after Solskjaer’s side dropped more points against lower opposition at the weekend, losing 2-0 at Premier League bottom side Watford with high-flying Newcastle next on the agenda for Boxing Day.

United currently lie eighth in the table, winning two out of their last five, with both of those victories coming against Tottenham and bitter rivals Manchester City.

Now, after a devastating loss heading into the last stretch of December, presenter Goldbridge hinted on the United Stand that the Norwegian gaffer is ‘unsackable’ due to the owners being ‘backed into a corner’.

In response, Red Devils supporters fumed at Ed Woodward, the Glazers and the situation overall, here’s what they had to say on Twitter.
