Cesc Fabregas is an in-demand player here in the Football Transfer Tavern and it seems that Metro have picked up on this.
The publication have claimed that the former Arsenal captain will certainly be leaving Barcelona this summer, and two of the Premier League’s biggest clubs are after his signature.
Manchester United and Manchester City are set to battle it out for the Spaniard who has been told that Barcelona will listen to offers for him this summer.
Fabregas has become unhappy with the way he has been made a scapegoat for the Catalan giants’ bad form and would be happy to leave the Camp Nou should the right offer for himself and his family present itself.
We think that the player could well favour Manchester City due to their presence in the Champions League next season – and we think Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger might have a cheeky look at his former player as well this summer.
Barcelona are looking forward to a summer of change, with a new manager and potentially a host of new players coming into the club, making the future of Fabregas even more uncertain.
