In a rather surprising turn of events, Manchester United tallied an impressive 2-0 victory over Manchester City at Old Trafford over the weekend.
But even though this is a huge victory in every sense of the word and will give the Red Devils a much-needed boost for their campaign, there’s no one surely happier than Liverpool right about now.
One journalist, Melissa Reddy, was quick to deliver a glowing verdict on Man United’s victory, showering them with praise and stating this was a well-deserved triumph.
She voiced her opinion on Twitter.
#MUFC – aggressive, dogged and full of endeavour – bettered #MCFC in every facet that mattered. Bernardo Silva said the performance was "not acceptable," but Pep Guardiola disagrees, insisting City "played good. I really liked the game we played."

Reddy also remarked that Man United were better than Man City in every single facet that mattered, further emphasising how the result was more than justified when everything is said and done.
If the title race in the Premier League wasn’t over just yet, it very much feels like it is right about now.
