Speaking to the Times surrounding the infamous on-going Paul Pogba row, football agent Mino Raiola, in his latest attack on Manchester United, has told club legend Gary Neville to ‘go screw himself‘ – resulting in supporters bashing the ‘shameless‘ attack on a club legend.
Raiola, who represents Pogba among various other players, fellow United man Jesse Lingard included, has waged a war of words with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the pair trade blows through the media. Solskjaer started the confrontation when he claimed to the BBC that Pogba is ‘our player, not Mino’s‘ – with the agent responding on social media via the BBC with the verdict that the Frenchman is not Solskjaer’s ‘property‘.
Since then, Raiola has been speaking to the Times, telling club legend Neville to ‘go screw himself’ amid the row. Neville, who started 381 Premier League games for the Red Devils over a career spanning 18 years (SoccerBase), responded by calling the agent a ‘leech‘.
Joining Neville, many Man United fans have cast their own insults towards Raiola on Twitter – here’s what they had to say.
Raiola is rattled. Having a go at everybody. Think that talk about Fifa regulating agents have got to him. 😂 Love it
