Speaking to ESPN, polarising Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has since come out to praise arch-rivals Liverpool for their remarkable Premier League campaign – stating that they deserve to be 22 points clear at the top of the table.
Pogba, who has suffered from a number of ankle issues this season which have kept him on the sidelines, spoke candidly to ESPN regarding Liverpool’s dominant title charge – explaining how they already have ‘one hand‘ on the Premier League trophy and how it is fully deserved.
The United star, who is currently linked with a move away from Old Trafford (Manchester Evening News), has since attracted debate over his comments – with many Red Devils supporters taking to Twitter and discussing the Frenchman’s admission. One supporter, despite the growing rumours of his departure, has even claimed that United should ‘build the team‘ around Pogba and Bruno Fernandes, while a number of other supporters have rather different thoughts.
